Cool R11 Fairway Wood

In 2004, taylormade pioneered adjustability with the R7 quad, incorporating the then revolutionary Movable Weight Technology, putting CG control in the hands of golfers to promote different types of ball flight. The partially adjustable driver brought straighter flight for multiple swing types and this was the start of numerous offerings with MWT from woods to rescues and even putters. With each subsequent R7 driver we saw a significant boost in performance over the last, including the R7 Limited, which boasted 35 yards of side-to-side change in trajectory. The next revolution warranted its own line, and the R9 was born when taylormade introduced for the first time, Flight Control Technology giving golfers eight different options for face angle, loft and lie angle. FCT’s eight options and MWT’s three options meant twenty-four potential settings on your driver and the first fully adjustable driver.

The taylormade r11 fairway wood is the latest and greatest from the makers of the No.1 drivers and woods in golf. It has new technology, like an adjustable sole that can adjust the face angle of the club, as well as the ability to adjust the launch angle, making it a truly adjustable fairway wood. The taylormade r11 fairway wood promotes up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance. It has a new deeper face and deeper center of gravity, which produces a more penetrating flight. The white non-glare crown and black clubface (which provides easy alignment) of the taylormade r11 fairway wood will improve your game and that sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse.

For some reason, the sole of the taylormade r11 fairway wood is wearing very poorly and scratched much more than expected.
I have never hit taylormade r11 fairway wood off a bad lie. I have had the club only a few months. It is the least used club in my bag, off of range mats, tees and only a few times on short par 5's.

I have the taylormade r11 fairway wood in 18 and 21 degrees, and I have the burner superfast 2.0 TP 5-wood. I am not experiencing anywhere near the scratching on the 15.5 fairway wood. I put these clubs into play during every round, and from poor lies. I will not buy again. Perhaps superfast 2.0 TP 15 degree, but not r11 fairway wood
