TaylorMade R11 TP Driver and R11 TP Fairway Wood

TaylorMade Golf 2011 series have passed the United States, “Golf Digest” evaluation, and are crowned as the 2011Hot List. Based on the R11 driver, TaylorMade golf clubs have won 11 awards, of which 9 is the Gold Award, and award-winning products covering almost the entire clubs category.
The TaylorMade R11 TP Driver is the latest and greatest from the makers of the No.1 driver in golf. It has new technology, like an adjustable sole that can adjust the face angle of the club, as well as the ability to adjust the launch angle, making it a truly adjustable driver. The power and consistency the R11 brings will improve your game and the sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse. The “TP” version has a lower center of gravity and is for the more experienced player.
“When the real expert golfers with the industry recognition of our products, for us is the best reward,” TaylorMade brand and product marketing vice president Bob Maggiore said, “‘the ball with a thermal chart’ (The Hot List) includes acclaimed R11 Driver golf equipment, including the award-winning fully reflects the new TaylorMade golf ball with superior performance for the commitment. ”
The Taylormade R11 TP Fairway Wood improves upon the adjustability established in the R9 fairways by combining Flight Control Technology (FCT) with Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) Technology in a high-performance steel head. With up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory change, a new aerodynamic clubhead shape promotes faster speed for more distance. The R11 TP fairway comes with 19 additional TP shaft choices, allowing you to further customize to your swing.
I believe, the TaylorMade golf clubs will be more and more famous in the 2011.

TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood Makes The Difference

In recent golfing world, the one who has made the difference is Hennie Otto, he currently has won the coveted South African Open for the first time – but in the end, it was certainly no cake walk. The 35-year-old South African started the day with a comfortable three-shot lead and was still three clear when he reached the turn at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Serengeti golf course near Johannesburg. Of course, also the TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood has made the difference in the world of golf clubs for sale.
Sharing the same materials with the r11 driver, the R11 fairway metals improve upon the R9 fairways by adding Adjustable Sole Plate Technology to Flight Control Technology in a new aerodynamic steel head that promotes faster speed for more distance. The finish of the head is a nice white matte finish that does reduce glare. If the finish was glossy, I definitely would have gone a different route. The black face contrasting with the white crown is pleasing and does help to align the club better and I think Taylormade did a great job with the color scheme. There are some markings around the edge of the crown that is a little distracting, but once you get used to it, it is a non factor at address. The paint scheme on the stock Blur shaft was nice and matched well with the overall scheme of things.
The following would be the experience with R11 Fairway Wood, then you can see how this fairway wood makes the difference. “After the range, I went to the course to take it out for its first round. First hit was a low screamer that didnt go too far, maybe about 150 yards. Again, more of my fault for having a too aggressive downswing. At the 3rd hole, it was about a 430 yard par 4, I hit a tee shot that normally would have gone about 150 yards, but ended up flying to around 190. I hit the ball on the face a little higher than normal but the ball still went a good distance. I exclusively used the R11 on almost all tee shots and was hitting nice 230 yard fades. Ball flight was a nice piercing mid trajectory and had good roll even though I usually dont get much. On a par 5 in the back 9, its about 500 yards to the green. I make a nice compact, smooth swing with a little extra and absolutely nut one. I check out the gps and see that I was about 245 yards away from the green.”

Your best Christmas Gift– TaylorMade R11 Driver

TaylorMade R11 Driver
The standard shaft in the R11  is the Fujikura Blur 60 gram shaft, available in X, S, R and M flexes. The 360° graphics mean the visuals look the same regardless of the position of the shaft.   Because of the flight control technology on offer the TaylorMade R11 driver  is only available in 9° or 10.5° models. However, these heads can then be set 1° higher, 1° lower or 0.5° up or down.
The new TaylorMade R11  looks like no other driver at address. The 440cc head looks bigger thanks to the colour and the contrast with the black face. This also helps to line the club up with the target. The white will catch the eye and the use of the driver on tour will provide plenty of interest. The adjustability seems complicated at first, but is easier to set up than previous versions.
Movable weight affects the left-to-right flight, while unscrewing and resetting the shaft into the head sets the loft. A new adjustable sole plate adds a third custom option to the head. The face angle and loft can be adjusted independently. A section of the sole is unscrewed and reset (open, closed or neutral) to change the position of the face at address.
TaylorMade R11 Driver is your best choice for X’mas gift, don’t miss it!

Why People Love R11 Driver?

The taylorMade r11 driver is the latest and greatest from the makers of the No.1 driver in golf. It has new technology, like an adjustable sole that can adjust the face angle of the club, as well as the ability to adjust the launch angle, making it a truly adjustable driver. This club of taylorMade r11 driver promotes up to 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance. The new aerodynamic shape of the taylorMade r11 driver promotes faster clubhead speed for more distance, six yards longer than the taylorMade r11 driver. The white non-glare crown and black clubface will improve your game and that sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse.

The taylorMade r11 driver brings new technology, innovation, and aesthetics to its already successful line of taylorMade r11 driver. With its distinctive white crown and black face, the taylorMade r11 driver is one of the easiest drivers to align at address. Also, its unique technological features ensure the proper fit for every golfer, allowing you to maximize distance through proper loft, face angle, and flight path customization.

I just got this taylorMade r11 driver 2 days ago, switched from the Cleveland launcher DST stiff. All I have to say is wow, the ball flight with the stock BLUR shaft is great, it’s a beautiful mid-low penetrating flight, sometimes taking 2nd flight when hit really well. Toe and heal shots and off maybe 10-15 yards max, the sound is also very nice to your ears, it’s a very compressing sound. I have not experimented with the weights and face adjustments but I am sure they are great. I switch drivers every 2 years but got this for my birthday and my current Cleveland is now collecting dust in the garage. Swing speed is right about 103mph and the stiff shaft is perfect.

Sneak peek at Callaway forged wedges

Roger Cleveland, chief designer behind Callaway Golf's wedge creations, has revealed a new batch of scoring clubs which will be available for less than £100 in February.
These new-look forged wedges, he says, will enable golfers to attack the pin more aggressively and with renewed confidence.
Tightly space, the 21 grooves conform to the latest regulations but have sharper edges because of a Triple Net forging process to deliver a more consistent trajectory and maximum spin control
The shape of the 1020 soft carbon steel heads, adds Cleveland, has been inspired in testing by Tour pros, who prefer traditional styling to enable them to be more versatile in their shot making by laying the face open and adapting the bounce angle where necessary.

Available with steel shafts, with dark chrome or copper finishes in left and right-hand options, the six new £99 wedges have a variety of lofts and bounce angles - 52-degree (10deg bounce), 54 (11), 56 (11), 58 (9),60 (9) and 64 (8).

RAZR sharp Palmer makes 20th hole-in-one

ou’d think it would be too late for Arnold Palmer to tally up any more records at the tender age of 82. Then again, he isn’t called The King for nothing.
The Callaway staff pro, playing his first round with the new RAZR XF irons and Callaway Tour i(z) ball, notched his 20th hole-in-one during a round at the Palmer-owned Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Florida.
The seven-time major champion, who has been with Callaway since 2000, fired a 5-iron into the cup at the 163-yard par-3 seventh.
“The ball landed ten feet short and politely rolled up into the hole,” said Palmer, who won the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998.
“I enjoy the new RAZR XF irons very much. I’m actually going out to hit some balls today because I’m excited to play with this new equipment.”
Of his 20 lifetime aces, Palmer made three in PGA Tour events, four on the Champions Tour, and one in Japan. His last hole-in-one came eight years ago, also at Bay Hill.
“My first one came at Latrobe Country Club when I was in high school on a short par-3,” Palmer recalled.
“I think I’ve made three of the 20 on that same hole. In the early days I was hitting wedges on that hole and now I’m hitting 8-irons.”
The ultra-premium RAZR XF irons are the company’s most technologically advanced irons, featuring a black PVD finish and constructed with a forged 1025 Carbon Steel body that provides a soft, responsive feedback at impact.

Versatile VR Pro Forged DS wedge by Nike

A wedge has to be versatile to accommodate every type of shot we face and visualise - from deep rough, fringe, fairway and sand.
And Nike Golf claims it has produced a new model of club which addresses every possible scenario thanks to a Dual Sole grind that allows for the club to be set square or layed back with an open face for maximum shot-saving.
Nike says it's capitalising on the success of its VR Pro forged wedges by introducing the  Nike VR Pro Forged Dual-Sole (DS) wedge (£89.95) developed with a unique forging process and created from feedback by its Tour players.
For normal shots, where the leading edge is square to the target, the sole has an added leading edge bounce built into the club with trailing edge is relieved, helping to eliminate digging but reducing the contact area so the club glides through the turf. The Dual-Sole, says Nike, prevents bladed shots.

For open faced shots, where more loft is exposed, the heel design comes into play and allows the leading edge to sit low to the ball, especially for those delicate short flop shots.

With its 20 rule-conforming X3X grooves with and textured face pattern for extra spin, Nike says its VR Pro Forged DS wedge delivers more control and consistency in all conditions off of the clubface,

The wedge is available with a platinum finish (for right-handers only) in 56-, 58- and 60-degree lofts.

Star names will miss Seve Trophy

Britain and Ireland will be without four of the world’s top 20 players when they defend the Vivendi Seve Trophy against Continental Europe in Paris.
World number one Luke Donald is at the FedEx Cup play-offs, while Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell and Paul Casey have turned down the match.
However, Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter and Darren Clarke will be playing.
GB & Ireland captain Paul McGinley said: “I think we have an extremely strong side with a good blend.”
European Ryder Cup captain Jose Maria Olazabal defended the absence of the leading players and said: “I’m sad that all our top players are not going to be playing in the Seve Trophy after his death this year.
“But I also know that with the top players in the world they do have their commitments like the FedEx Cup in America, getting world ranking points and in Luke Donald’s case trying to finish top of both the European and US money lists.
“So they cannot appear at every event, and I am sorry they won’t be there but because I understand their situation I certainly will not hold it against them at the Ryder Cup in a year’s time.”
Scotland’s Scott Jamieson, England’s David Horsey and Jamie Donaldson, from Wales, will make their debuts at the event, which starts on 15 September.
There is also a first cap for Westwood’s Worksop colleague Mark Foster.
McGinley, who won the event as a player in 2006 and 2007, added: “It is a huge boost for our team that players of the calibre of Lee, Darren and Ian have opted to play.
“These are players with big worldwide reputations and impressive Ryder Cup pedigrees.
“It is certain that many of the members of our team will go on to represent Europe in the Ryder Cup, so this experience of team golf cannot be underestimated.”
He also defended the decisions of McDowell and McIlroy not to compete and said: “I’m not going to comment, so don’t drag me into that, and besides I’m not going to criticise any players not playing next week. All I can say is that I would have loved them both to play.”
Continental Europe will also be without some big names including world number three Martin Kaymer, Robert Karlsson and Sergio Garcia.
Their debutants will be Italian teenager Matteo Manassero, Swede Alex Noren, Spaniard Pablo Larrazabal and Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts, who has recovered from the elbow injury he suffered in a scooter crash just before the Open Championship in July.
Skipper Jean Van de Velde said: “With eight rookies in the two teams it means that 40% of the sides are newcomers and this will be great preparation for the day they step up to play in the Ryder Cup.

Phil Mickelson tries out belly putter

NORTON, Mass. — The newest craze on the PGA Tour — the belly and long putter — has captured the attention of Phil Mickelson, who practiced with one Thursday morning during the pro-am at the Deutsche Bank Championship at the TPC Boston.
Call it a fad or the future of putting, belly or long putters have been in the winner’s circle six times in 2011, including the PGA Championship, where Keegan Bradley became the first to win a major using one.
But will Mickelson put it in the bag Friday in the first round?
“Probably, yeah, probably,” Mickelson said of the Odyssey 46-inch putter. “I was a little shady with it on the front nine but a little bit better with it on the back … I don’t mind trying new things. I’ve hit two drivers and no drivers in Opens, and I don’t mind trying something different. We’ll see.”
Mickelson, long considered to have one of the best short games in the sport, is ranked 89th on tour in total putting. Inside 10 feet — the distance where the pros make their cash — he is ranked 84th, converting from that range only 57 percent of the time.
Last month at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, 47 players averaged fewer putts a round than the 41-year-old four-time major champion. And 56 players averaged fewer putts on greens in regulation than Mickelson in a field of 76 golfers.
Mickelson has tried to read putts with his feet more and has worked with putting guru and former PGA champion Dave Stockton after years of advice from Dave Pelz. Mickelson still works with Pelz on other aspects of his short game.

Titleist Golf: CB 710 Irons vs CB 712 Irons

Titleist have always positioned themselves as the players brand – serious clubs for serious golfers as they like to say. Regular tour wins from the likes of Steve Stricker, Geoff Ogilvy and Robert Karlsson cement this view and any new club needs to be good enough to be seen in their bags. The 710 CB irons and CB 712 irons (golf clubs) are their new cavity back irons for better players.
Keeping with its serious clubs for serious golfer roots, Titleist introduces the new Titleist CB 710 Irons featuring improved feel and looks. The CB irons are a full set of cavity-back forgings that deliver the looks, feel and performance highly-skilled players demand.
CB irons feature an optimized cavity muscle that provides more mass behind the impact area to achieve the quintessential soft, solid feel. This weighting also produces consistent launch angle, backspin and ball speed in order to provide precise distance and shot control demanded by better players. The full cavity CB set also provides increased inertia and forgiveness versus the MB.
The Titleist CB 712 Irons with classic design and traditional feel and responsiveness will give your more enthusiasts. The classic design and traditional feel and responsiveness of the new MB irons will please even the most adamant traditional iron enthusiasts.
It features a uniform muscle shape that provides more mass behind the impact area to achieve the quintessential soft, solid feel. This weighting also produces consistent launch angle, backspin and ball speed in order to provide precise distance and shot control demanded by better players.

Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Putter

For those of us who prefer a little more heft in our putter head and don’t want to use lead tape, the new Studio Select line fits us perfectly. The Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Putter features removable weights that let you fine-tune the weight that works best for you.

The Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Putter model uses a full offset hosel with a plumbing neck. Bold ‘tour-inspired’ cosmetics include three large red dots on the back of the putter, three smaller red dots on the heel of the face, and distinct Studio Select graphics, shaft band and headcover. The high toe setup eliminates the tendency to raise the toe at address which causes the player to aim left of target.

While the Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Putter style head is similar to ones in the past, there are some pretty noticeable changes with the Studio Select version as it looks like a combination of a few different heads. If you to look at from the face side, you would think you were looking at the Mil-Spec with the three red dots and the Cameron name as well as a more rounded bottom. Also a very distinctive milling patten make the face look quite sharp.

The golf clubs — Scotty Cameron has pretty much held the same weight/length characteristics with his various Newport lines over the years with few exceptions. For the most part, the 33″ length was matched with a 350-gram head, the 34″ with a 340-gram head, and the 35″ getting a 330-gram head. Other than swapping shafts with a heavier head (or vise versa), you were pretty much stuck with whatever weight head came with the correct shaft length for your physical makeup and putting stroke.

All models in the Studio Select line are available right-handed. For the lefties out there, the Newport 2 model is available in all three lengths as well. If  you want to know more about  Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Putter you can visit discountpricegolf.com

Reviews on TaylorMade Tour Preferred MC Irons

The newly launched TaylorMade Tour Preferred MC Irons are the premium Muscle Cavity design tour irons for the ultimate in shot making. The MC design delivers both forgiveness and great feel. The Compact blade combined with legendary TaylorMade craftsmanship make these perfect to shape shots for closer putts.

The Tour Preferred MC Irons have a slightly smaller head and less offset than the TP CB irons. And like the TP CB irons, the weight screw has been placed in a carbon composite badge to dampen the impact sound and enhance feel. But instead of a game-improving undercut, these irons simply offer perimeter weighting to assist golfers on mis-hits.There is less offset here, which should help better players shape shots more easily, as well as a slightly-thinner sole.

The creation of the irons starts with an exclusive 6-step forging process, which produces a more precisely shaped and finished head that looks and performs beautifully. The sole is moderate to narrow in thickness and less cambered, preventing deep digging. The leading edge features minimal heel-to-toe radius with the ideal amount of camber to cut cleanly and precisely into the turf with little to no resistance. The Shaft is True Temper Dynamic Gold and the grip is Golf Pride Tour Velvet 58R, 51g. As for the cost, the brand new TP MC are $899.99, which is very expensive, so I suggest that you buy them online, where golf clubs is available to help you save a lot.

“The TP MC offers a more ideal mixture of feel, workability, and forgiveness. The TP MC is, unlike the partially cast TP CB, created using an exclusive six-step forging process that is said to produce a more consistent, precise head shape and finish.”

Every golfer persistently persue to address the long distance, even people who has been the key figure to got the score dream of the further range. Here the Titleist 910 D2 can help you to reach your level. The Titleist is to serve both recreational and professional golfers alike by providing them with products and services that have a competitive advantage worldwide. As a different club, the 910 D2 driver also has its difference with others, for example. The 910 D2 driver has a thin crowm and high performance wighting which can create low and deep CG.
Key Technologies : The titleist 910 D2 driver has a cast titannum head that features a forged titannum face insert that has a thicker central portion equidistant from all points circle the face primeter. It is for the golfers who are looking to improve their overall driving performance by increase distance, accuracy and control of the tee.
Practical Applicability: This driver has been specially made for a hot, solid sound and feel and will be the star of the course! The driver has a higher lauch and spin than the titleist D3.An interchangeable shaft connection and rear weight screw provide the suitable options and the full pear-shaped profile for the players.

Titleist 910 D3 Driver Compare To Titleist 910 D2 Driver

The Titleist 910 D3 Driver offers the same advanced evolutionary technology that offers increased distance, accuracy and shot control which is used in the Titleist 910 D2 Driver model, but has been specifically designed for the more serious golfers out there.
Beside the excellent adjustable hosel, there are a number of other features that make this a great driver. The all black head is beautiful to look at. The D2 model is the full 460cc and is a little more forgiving, while the D3 model is a little more compact, 445cc with a slightly taller face offering a more workable head. The D3 is really the combination of both worlds, if you want to work it, the ability is there to control shots, but if you want to just hit straight you can do that too.  I would definitely keep this in the hands of better players; for maximum forgiveness the D2 is better suited.
The main differences are that the Titleist 910 D3 Driver has a smaller clubhead at 445cc compared to the maximum 460cc of the 910 D2 Driver. It also has a slightly deeper face to provide additional control of trajectory and shot shaping.
Titleist have also optimized the weight distribution in the Titleist 910 D3 Driver, with a brand new head design and bezel weight at the rear end of the clubhead. This weight distribution lowers the center of gravity and moves it deeper back in the clubhead, which helps to improve stability by stopping the clubhead from twisting as much at the moment of contact, especially on those off center hits, to give golfers more accuracy and control off of the tee.
As well as including ‘fast face insert design’ and optimizing weight distribution, Titleist have also introduced their patented SureFit Tour technology to theTitleist 910 Drivers.
This unique evolutionary technology provides golfers with the opportunity to tailor the drivers performance to match their own swing style by allowing them to individually adjust the loft and lie angle.
